Cape and Islands Youth Action Board
Who are we?
The Cape And Islands Youth Action Board is a group of passionate and dedicated youth who are committed to advocating for young adult homelessness on Cape Cod and the Islands. Our mission is to create systematic change, and we believe that the key to achieving this is through authentic youth collaboration and lived experience. We challenge current assumptions and biases about youth homelessness, and we work collaboratively to bring about real, lasting change for those who are most vulnerable.
Our Mission
Our board's mission is to end youth homelessness in our community. We use our direct experiences to advocate for change and raise awareness, working towards a connected community that provides better support and safe, sustainable housing for young adults. Our ultimate goal is to create a world where our services are no longer needed, because no young person faces homelessness
Our Vision
The vision of the Cape and Islands Youth Action Board is to uphold an inter-connected community among unhoused and housing insecure youth while achieving safe and sustainable living options with access to necessary resources.
